Friday, February 12th
Time: 12:00-1:00pm
This panel examines how cities, as they become smarter and more integrated, shouldn’t compromise on resiliency or sustainability, but recognize how they complement one another, as the changes they make will have fundamental lasting benefits. Upgrades to infrastructure in an aim to reduce GHG emissions, increase building efficiency, and increase resilience against extreme climate events will be reviewed. Challenges to identify vulnerable populations and provide equitable access to sustainable, resilient infrastructure will also be discussed.
