How Can Tech Lead Us To Carbon Neutrality?

State and local governments across the U.S. are setting new or strengthening existing climate mitigation commitments, including pledges to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 or sooner. In July 2021, Fairfax County committed to carbon-neutral government operations by 2040, and in September 2021 the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors adopted a carbon-neutral goal for the community as a whole. Such ambitious targets can only be met by pursuing a broad suite of clean energy strategies and technologies.

Join us for a discussion on the future of clean energy management with promising new Fairfax County companies who are using smart city technology to help us meet our carbon neutrality goals. Our discussion will include how local startups gained traction in a highly competitive space and grew their business by gaining a foothold with large commercial enterprises.
